1940s Vintage wrap robe Turquoise Chinese brocade kimono vintage 40s Asian satin long robe boho rayon Jacquard S M
Item Description
Chinese turquoise jacquard wrap robe is so charming with pagoda and cherry blossoms and bamboo, and little people woven in the fabric. This 1940s tailored kimono-style brocade robe is in red and gold patterns on a bright turquoise rayon.
Lovely vintage 40s Asian satin long robe, the 40s style really makes this a stand out. It has a shawl collar with stitching and a lovely hand folded frog and knot button for a closing. The front has princess seams from shoulder to hem for gentle shaping.
Inside it has a tie also. The shoulders have 1" period shoulder pads for a strong shoulder look so popular then. The sleeves bell out at the wrist, trimmed in more stitching for the cuff. On the front are 2 pockets, each topped with more stitched work. Inside it's lined in matching rayon turquoise blue satin. Wraps, and ties with the long matching belt.
Classic mid-century lounge wear.
Made of rayon and maybe some acetate, it has 2 front pockets and a hanging loop inside, at the collar. The tag: Pyrus, made in Hong Kong.
